Talk about coincidences!

so this past saturday my fiance and i were out getting costume items for a masquerade mardi gras event we were going to that night.

she had a specific store she needed to go to in an area of town we don't frequent.

you know how it is when your lady wants girly things ;).

That is a coincidence. Possible he didn't recognize you. I have this very uncanny ability to recognize people, even after several years, whether it be on TV or real life. I've even woke out of sleep days later figuring out who the person I recognized was.

IF.....I ever decided to go back and they wanted to bring up something in the past that happened when the person had been gone from the org. for long time and never claimed to be a JW, and they wanted to DF over it.........I'd tell them to kiss my f'n ass. (that they could DF me for)

Life On Hold: The CO Visit Week

did anyone have to cancel a vacation trip because it was on co visit week?

i still don't get why the co visit was as if god himself was in town.

is it kinda like if the pope were to visit with catholics?.

I never really cared for CO week. There was only one that I really liked. My butt kissing skills are not that good and when you combine that with not being raised or having connections in the org., you are just another person to them.

Elders were expected to be there and only gone if it could not be avoided. Kinda like your boss scheduling a performance evaluation.

My JW Friend's Justification for the WT Being God's Chosen Organisation

That's probably the weakest claim a person could make for the WTS to be "God's Channel on Earth". Absolutely cannot be proved by the bible alone. The claim purely stands on because the WTS says it is.

If someone messes you up, you start completely over again at 1.

Here's a synopsis of the INTJ Materminds personality. Only about 1% of general population, but definitely many X-JW here fall into this category.

All Rationals are good at planning operations, but Masterminds are head and shoulders above all the rest in contingency planning. Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off on their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be.

Masterminds are rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population, and they are rarely encountered outside their office, factory, school, or laboratory. Christopher......glad you are doing good. The difference in your posts is like night and day. A much more mature man is coming through now. I left in my late 30's and became very sucessful after leaving the JW's. When your world is first changed like that it can be overwhelming. I don't regret it one bit. Just make your top priority making yourself and your young family happy and everything else will fall into place for you.
